Reporting to Sales Director via National Sales Manager
Our clients are one of the premier manufacturers of systems that fix, fasten and protect buildings - and secure futures. Catering to architects, designers, consulting engineers, and contractors. They provide extensive options and a commitment to product quality, innovation, bespoke technical solutions, and exceptional service. Currently we are looking for an exceptional Technical Sales Manager for the South West Region, ideally with technical sales experience of Flat Roofing Steel, Concrete, Timber and Critical Decks.
Our client has been at the forefront for setting standards in the mechanical fastening of membranes and insulation on flat roofs for over 50 years, who is ready to take their career to the next level. This opportunity offers a competitive salary package and Uncapped Commission starting at 20% of annual salary.
Objectives
* Aim to achieve budgeted turnover and profitability targets
* Manage and develop new business in the defined sales region through a consultative sales approach
* Represent the company in a professional and proficient manner at all times
Principal duties
* Manage key accounts within sales territory
* Develop new and existing business within the region by working with sub-contractors, key OEM and distribution partners
* Provide technical/consultative sales support by networking and building strong working relationships within all departments of the customer/client. This includes areas such as technical, estimating, purchasing and contracts managers.
* Ensure you have good product and application knowledge at all times
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided at all times
* Maximise profitability whilst securing the business
* Pro-actively seek and secure projects within your sales region
* Work closely with your peers to fully leverage all opportunities
* Understand your competitors and report back on a regular basis any information of note
* Complete all sales administration as required in full and on time

* Able to fulfil administrative duties linked to functional role such as updating company CRM, completing expenses and populating sales meeting reports.
Salary Package
* Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
* Uncapped Commission, starting at 20% of annual salary on completion of targets.
