* 5+ years UK experience within a public, private, or third sector such as a consultant, contractor, Local Authority, or Client organization
* A self-starter who can take initiative and proactively develop new business relationships and drive business development activities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Motivated, highly organized, and diligent
* A full UK driving license
* Demonstrable experience managing people, either directly or as part of a project team
* A track record of working in or leading multi-disciplinary engineering design teams
* Excellent people skills
* Ability to develop and build mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships (internal design teams, consenting bodies, statutory authorities, key consultees, and government departments)
* High level of commercial awareness and an aptitude for business development
* Experience in business development, sales, or recruitment
* Management and control of a project’s budget/finance
* Project management and/or leadership experience
