You will be working alone or with a team, with a key skill required of laying rolled vinyl, weld and Cap & Cove. Duties: - Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, hardwood, and welding of rolled vinyl with Cap & Cove to finish. - Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area - Prepare the subfloor by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing - Remove old flooring materials if necessary - Apply adhesive or other bonding agents to secure the flooring materials in place - Use specialized tools and equipment to properly install the flooring - Ensure that the flooring is installed according to industry standards and specifications - Inspect the completed work for any defects or imperfections and make necessary repairs or adjustments Qualifications: - Previous experience as a floor layer or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques - Ability to read and interpret floor plans and blueprints - Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship - Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation - Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients...
