The Design Manager is a crucial part of the Tesco Creative Studio partnership with Tag, working closely with the Ops team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing across digital platforms, particularly social and content. We are looking for a talented DM capable of designing visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers across a wide range of media, with the ability to also deliver full brand guidelines for the new category products for their global markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with the Senior Copywriter to refine and generate creative briefs for IMS (Insurance and Money Services) campaigns.
2. Review creative outputs and provide feedback to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and accurate interpretation of briefs.
3. Share creative concepts with team leads for visibility and feedback.
4. Prepare and present creative responses to campaign managers and key stakeholders at Tesco IMS.
5. Provide hands-on design support to ideate and craft visual executions across relevant communication channels.
6. Work closely with and deputize for the Creative Studio Leads to develop briefs that deliver innovative ideas.
7. Design visually compelling communications across digital and social media platforms.
8. Collaborate with the creative team to produce strategically sound creative solutions.
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience designing engaging and well-crafted visual communications across digital channels, including social content.
* Experience creating visual identities and full brand guidelines for multi-channel use.
* Experience designing motion graphics and video editing.
* Strong attention to detail with a big-picture mindset.
* Embrace innovation in digital design.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting and directing design concepts.
* Experience in highly regulated sectors like Financial Services is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to interpret and work within brand identities and guidelines.
