Job Description:
The role has been created to support the continued growth of our business. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, proactive, and well-organized individual to join our Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information team. Please note this role is office-based in Hertford, UK.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain AE reporting processes and systems.
* Respond to Medical Information enquiries.
* Conduct literature searches to identify key product articles.
* Create and collate aggregate reports (PSURs, RMPs, Renewals, etc.).
* Reconcile received medical information enquiries, product complaints, and adverse events with relevant stakeholders.
* Support the collection of PV/MI compliance metrics, KPIs, and quality review reports.
* Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
* Stay current with pharmacovigilance regulations and knowledge.
* Identify training and development opportunities for the PV department.
* Ensure all safety-related regulatory timeframes are met.
* Complete departmental projects accurately per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
* Review safety tracking system data for accuracy and quality.
* Maintain documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practice.
* Liaise with partners and internal teams on safety issues.
* Coordinate interdepartmental activities, including audits and inspections.
* Review study documentation for PV inputs.
* Keep updated on safety regulations and guidelines.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
* Provide administrative support to the PV team.
* Develop and maintain product knowledge.
* Represent PV and MI in cross-functional meetings.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Minimum one year of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
* Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
* BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
* Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask.
* Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
