Structural Design Engineer (Engineer to Senior Level)
Location: [Glasgow, Derby or Runcorn (Hybrid)]

The Role:
We are seeking Structural Design Engineers (Engineer to Senior Engineer level) with proven experience in marine structures to support ongoing shipbuilding and naval projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality structural designs, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Structural modelling and design of bulkheads and decks
* Production of detailed drafting packages for marine structures
* Shell modelling for ship structures
* Preparation and optimisation of nesting outputs
* Working with design tools to produce accurate, manufacturable outputs
* Supporting design reviews and ensuring compliance with project and industry standards
Technical Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Experience in marine structural design for naval ships projects
* Strong understanding of:
* Bulkhead and deck modelling & drafting
* Shell modelling techniques
* Nesting processes
* Proficiency in the following tools:
* Siemens Foran
