The work schedule is flexible based on the student’s class schedule. Desired times would be afternoons and evenings, and Wednesday mornings if available.

Position Summary
This position assists the Administrative Assistant of the Office of Student Engagement ( OSE ) with daily and weekly office tasks. Will be assigned to handle details of annual events that are sponsored by our department and answer phones/questions at reception counter.

Skills, Characteristics Required for Position
Computer skills needed (Microsoft Office programs), Good time-manager. Self-motivated/task-oriented needed. Creativity is a plus. Friendliness, good customer service skills, and detail-orientedness are also a plus.

Special Working Conditions
May be required to get certified to drive campus vehicles. Reports to Administrative Assistant of dept, but will also do projects as directed by the Office of Student Engagement department directors.

Primary Duties
1. Assists the Administrative Assistant of OSE with daily and weekly office projects.
2. Will be assigned to handle details of annual events that are sponsored by our department, such as the Clubs and Orgs Engagement Fair.
3. Answer phones/questions at Student Engagement counter.
4. Keep the office and kitchen tidy (wiping down surfaces, sweeping, keeping things organized, etc.)
5. Managing the BrightAuthor digital signage in the Union (alongside SAB Marketing Exec.)
6. Keeping game cabinet organized and giving suggestions for new games to purchase
7. Going around the Union and taking down expired posters and unapproved off-campus posters
8. Checking the mail/grabbing packages as needed
9. Restock black printer when paper is out
10. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
