Surveyor (Response & Repairs) - 12-Month FTC
Hampshire | Up to £43,000 per annum | 37 hours per week
The Role
This is a hands-on, field-based position where youll be carrying out a variety of responsive repair surveys across residential properties in Hampshire. Youll be the go-to for:
* Property inspections in response to maintenance requests
* Minor works surveys
* Investigating issues like damp, mould, and condensation
* Overseeing small-scale refurbishments
* Supporting mutual exchanges and general surveying tasks
Youll manage your own workload with the support of an automated scheduling system and a close-knit team. Communication and customer service are key – you&aposll be liaising with residents, maintenance teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure repairs are delivered to a high standard.
About You
To be successful in this role, youll ideally have:
* A recognised qualification (HNC or higher) in Building, Surveying, Planning or a similar technical discipline - or equivalent industry experience
* Experience within the construction or housing sector (social housing experience is a plus)
* Confidence in diagnosing building defects and providing professional advice
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
