Location: Devro Scotland Ltd, Gartferry Road, Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, G69 0JE
Salary: £ per hour
Working Hours: hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
At Sodexo, we take pride in providing clean, safe, and efficient environments for our clients and their people. We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Janitor to join our team at Devro Scotland Ltd.
In this key role, you will carry out industrial cleaning duties across the site’s dry-end production areas, ensuring that high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently maintained. You’ll need to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using cleaning machinery and chemicals safely and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled cleaning duties across production and industrial areas
* Operate cleaning machinery, ensuring equipment is used and stored safely
* Maintain cleanliness in line with site hygiene and safety standards
* Follow COSHH guidelines when using cleaning chemicals
* Respond promptly to spillages or urgent cleaning requests
* Ensure work areas are left clean and tidy after tasks are completed
* Comply with all health and safety procedures and policies
Ideal Candidate
* Previous industrial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Knowledge of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning materials
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
