Our client is a leading name based in the York area with an excellent reputation and a vibrant finance office. They are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their Credit team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting Credit Managers in establishing and maintaining Credit Limits and opening new customer accounts.
2. Assisting with the company's credit control procedures, including daily administration tasks such as providing copy invoices and statements.
3. Handling payments due and following up on overdue accounts via email or phone.
4. Addressing customer inquiries and correspondence.
5. Coordinating with the Store Manager or Account Manager to resolve customer queries and manage aged debts.
6. Managing a large email inbox and responding promptly to queries.
7. Collaborating with the team to achieve departmental goals and improve procedures.
8. Performing other tasks as directed by the accountant, including covering for other finance staff during their absence.
9. Experience in a busy accounts office is essential; full training will be provided.
