Location: Swadlincote, DE11 Job Type: Part-time / Ongoing ⏰ Schedule: Monday to Friday – School Hours Setting: SEN / Alternative Provision ✨ About the Role You will be working closely with students who require additional support, delivering engaging and tailored sessions in Functional Skills (English & Maths). This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners on a 1:1 or small group basis and positively impact their educational journey. Key Responsibilities Deliver Functional Skills lessons in English and/or Maths Plan and adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs Support students with SEN, SEMH, or additional barriers to learning Track progress and provide regular feedback Create a positive and engaging learning environment ✅ Requirements Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable) Strong knowledge of Functional Skills curriculum Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Relevant teaching/tutoring qualification (desirable but not essential) Why Join Us?
