Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support the Head of Operations in overseeing the daily business operations across the UK and Canada. This role is critical in ensuring that day-to-day processes run efficiently, that cross-functional coordination is smooth, and that clients and partners receive timely, high-quality support.
This is an operational role focused on execution and support.
Operational Support
* Assist with day-to-day operational management for the UK and Canada
* Monitor transactional activity and coordinate reviews with the Compliance team
* Support the implementation of controls and service processes
* Manage basic supplier and vendor communications
* Provide client and partner support, escalating issues as needed
* Execute assigned operational tasks aligned with business needs
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, IT, sales, admin, and marketing
* Ensure tasks and communications are effectively aligned across departments
Business Development Assistance
* Support the identification of new agents or clients
* Assist in preparing proposals and documentation for potential clients
* Help maintain relationships with current agents and ensure service consistency
Market and Administrative Support
* Collect and summarise market intelligence and competitor activity
* Assist in completing administrative tasks such as vendor forms and prequalification processes
* Ensure consistent and professional company representation
Reporting & Oversight
* Provide regular updates to the Head of Operations
* Track and document activities in line with internal KPIs and operational standards
Qualifications and Experience:
* 3+ years’ experience in an Operations role, preferably in fintech, payments, or remittances
* Strong organisational and coordination skills
* Clear written and verbal communication abilities
* Experience working in a remote or hybrid setting with cross-functional teams
* Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision

* Exposure to compliance-sensitive industries such as financial services or remittances
* Experience working with vendors, agents, or customer-facing operations
* Familiarity with task-tracking or project management tools
* A background in operations management is advantageous
