Management Role Responsibilities
This is a management role responsible for the running of the contract, liaising with the client to ensure customer satisfaction with food and service at the site. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating your team.
You will also manage the budget, complete weekly reports and stock counts, and ensure that you and your team meet GP and budget targets each week. This requires good planning and organizational skills, in-depth knowledge of contract catering for accurate forecasting, and the drive to deliver innovative food and service daily — qualities that set Bartlett Mitchell apart from other caterers.
Standards and Team Leadership
We expect pride in hygiene, food safety, and compliance. You will brief and support your team, bringing our core foodie values into the site. You should be a great manager and chef capable of producing outstanding, seasonal, balanced, and nutritious menus inspired by the ingredients you work with.
Learning and Customer Engagement
Participation in our learning culture is important. Attend our forums and Academy workshops to stay updated on food innovation. Regular interaction with customers is expected to measure success, gather inspiration, and maximize sales through our concepts and innovations.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally, you will be educated to a City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ, or have equivalent skills and experience. A Food Safety qualification at Level 3 and Health & Safety at Level 2 are required, along with excellent knowledge of Food Safety Management System requirements and COSHH.
