About the Role
Pay details (qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 (Core and Practice) or equivalent):
Grade 4 – £25,583 to £26,403 pro rata, £13.26 to £13.69/hr.
Unqualified/working toward Level 2:
Grade 3 – £25,185 pro rata, £13.05/hr.
Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays).
Times
* Monday – Friday:
12 am – 6 am – Time & ⅓
6 am – 10 pm – Plain time
10 pm – 12 am – Time & ⅓
* Saturday:
12 am – 6 am – Time & ¾
6 am – 10 pm – Time & ½
10 pm – 12 am – Time & ¾
* Sunday and bank holidays:
12 am – 6 am – Time & ¼
6 am – 10 pm – Time & ½
10 pm – 12 am – Time & ⅓
Hours of Work: 1 vacancy – 25 hours per week – 21:00 – 07:00. Weekly rotation: Week 1 – Wednesday & Friday; Week 2 – Monday, Wednesday & Saturday; Week 3 – Tuesday & Sunday; Week 4 – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday; Week 5 – Wednesday & Saturday; Week 6 – Thursday, Friday & Sunday.
Main place of work: Penarth.
About You
You will need:
* Experience of providing person‑centred personal care, support with acts of daily living and emotional support to vulnerable adults;
* Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
* Willingness to participate in training and work toward a professional vocational qualification.
DBS check required: Enhanced.
