Hours of work are 42 per week based on a rotating shift pattern across a 7 day week working lates/night shifts and flexibility will be required. This is a physically demanding roles and requires the individual to load and unload the vehicle safely, securely and efficiently at both Allied Bakeries and customer premises whilst observing company policies and procedures. To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards. To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency. To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety. To comply with Company standards for customer service. To report immediately to the Front Line Manager any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels. To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock. To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications. To carry out any duties as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The Right Person CE Driving licence is essential. One years driving experience of class CE vehicles is essential. The ability to work shifts; including weekends. CPC Qualification is essential.
