Job Description We are currently recruiting a PMO Lead (Director) within our Glasgow Project Controls Team. The ideal candidate will possess proven infrastructure experience to lead major defence programmes in Scotland. Responsibilities include:
Leading a PMO, focusing on driving Controls and Performance business transformation efforts to ensure effective delivery and client satisfaction.
Managing all PMO capabilities, including: Planning and Scheduling
Risk Management
Cost Control
Change Management
Reporting Management
Baseline Management
Building and maintaining PMO capability, including Resource Management, Controls and Performance, and Risk and Governance.
Aligning the PMO with customer requirements through a clearly defined and integrated operating model.
Ensuring effective integration and deconfliction of Programme and Project works, addressing issues proactively.
Developing people, systems, tools, processes, and assurance standards across all Programmes and Projects.
Embedding and refining processes, procedures, systems, and tools to ensure compliance with strategy, best practices, and standards.
Managing portfolio reporting efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications Must be a SOLE UK National eligible for UK MoD Security Clearance (SC), due to project sensitivity.
Experience in planning, monitoring, and reviewing scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
Proven infrastructure sector experience.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficiency in PC operating systems and software applications, including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of engineering and construction management processes.
