About the Role
You will deliver 2nd‑line IT technical support, resolving a range of IT issues for staff, students, and visitors across campus. The role requires knowledge of IT Service Management and current computing technologies. As an entry‑level post, a training and development plan is scheduled.
Responsibilities
 * Provide 2nd line ICT service request and incident management support.
 * Analyse and resolve problem activities in an ICT technical support environment.
 * Configure and deploy hardware and software, including portable devices.
 * Attend campuses outside of regular hours to address high‑priority matters.
Qualifications
 * Hold an HNC/HND, Foundation degree, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent with relevant ICT content, or be in final 6 months of a degree programme with relevant ICT content.
 * Experience in providing 2nd level ICT service request and incident management support.
 * Experience in problem analysis and resolution activities in an ICT technical support environment.
 * Experience configuring and deploying hardware and software, including portable devices.
 * Willingness to attend campuses out of hours to deal with matters of high priority.
