A highly reputable, large all-through school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join their thriving secondary phase from September 2025, or sooner if available. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The role will suit a practitioner with a genuine enthusiasm for their subject and a commitment to engaging students through high-quality, inspiring teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.
* Support the wider school ethos and participate in enrichment opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree and qualified teacher status (QTS).
* Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (including KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable).
* A track record of securing good or better outcomes for students.
* Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and fostering a positive learning environment.
* High expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
* A proactive and reflective approach to professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
