You'll work across a Midlands based region (Preston to Oxford), carrying out service, maintenance, and commissioning of specialist equipment to industry-leading standards — with full support, autonomy, and recognition for the work you do.

The Role – What You’ll Do:
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
* Servicing and maintaining diesel generator packages and associated equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical faults
* Using specialist tools and diagnostic equipment
* Modifying and setting up systems to customer specifications
* Attending breakdowns and participating in the on-call rota
* Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism
* Contributing to team training and knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For:
* Solid experience with diesel engines and mechanical/electrical systems
* A strong understanding of diagnostics and fault-finding
* Knowledge of Deep Sea electronics and synchronising systems is ideal
* Experience with AVR systems (advantageous but not essential)
* Ability to work independently, confidently, and efficiently under pressure
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A customer-first mindset and professional approach
