A global specialist in lifting and handling solutions is looking for a Service Sales Manager based in Aberdeen. The company operates across the marine and offshore sectors, delivering engineered equipment and technical support through a worldwide network. In this role, you’ll manage customer relationships, coordinate service work, and support the growth of aftersales business across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
* Identifying and following up on new service opportunities within existing accounts.
* Acting as the main point of contact for ongoing and upcoming service projects.
* Preparing and submitting service-related tender documentation.
* Raising quotations using the ERP system and ensure accurate job costings.
* Planning and allocating service work in collaboration with the Service Manager.
* Providing clear job handovers to the service execution team, including scope and schedule details.
* Coordinating technical support and respond to customer enquiries.
* Keeping all service records up to date in the ERP system and relevant job folders.
* Working with the Accounts Team to help resolve any invoicing issues and support timely payments.
About You:
* Account or Project Management experience within a service or engineering environment.
* A background in marine engineering is an advantage.
* Strong communication, coordination and organisational skills.
* Comfortable using ERP and other business systems.
