Location: Speke, Liverpool (Hybrid – 4 days office, 1 day home)
Hours: Full Time, 8:45am-4:45pm Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week

Now, we’re looking for an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Advisor to join our People & Culture team and help us create a positive, fair and supportive workplace for everyone.
About the role
As our People & Culture Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for managers and colleagues, providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of employee relations and people management. You’ll manage a varied caseload, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes, while also supporting the wider People & Culture team with initiatives that enhance engagement, inclusion, and employee experience.
You’ll have a strong grasp of employment law and HR best practice, and you’ll be confident coaching and supporting managers to handle issues effectively and independently.
What you’ll do
* Act as one of the main points of contact for HR and People queries.
* Provide timely, pragmatic advice on ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, probation, and flexible working.
* Manage ER cases from initial advice through to resolution, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
* Support the HR Business Partner with proactive interventions to improve engagement, culture, and retention.
* Develop and deliver manager training on ER, people management and employment law updates.
* Monitor trends in ER cases and provide insights to inform policy and process improvements.
* Support and coordinate essential compliance training programmes.
* Contribute to projects and initiatives that foster inclusion and strengthen our workplace culture.
About you
You’ll have a strong understanding of UK employment law and experience managing a variety of ER cases. You’re a confident communicator, able to build trust at all levels, and you approach challenges with resilience, empathy, and a solutions focus.
* Proven experience managing ER cases independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* HR experience in logistics/manufacturing.
