SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting an experienced SENDCo to support a welcoming and inclusive independent school in Buckinghamshire on a temp to perm basis starting immediately.
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and ensuring inclusive practice across the school.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school
• Work closely with teaching staff to support students with additional needs
• Develop and review support plans and strategies for pupils
• Liaise with parents, external professionals, and support services
• Promote inclusive teaching practices and ensure compliance with SEND policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• National Award for SEN Coordination (or working towards)
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
• Experience working with students with additional needs
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
