What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Management Accounting team who will work in the Revenue reporting team in Liverpool, responsible for Revenue reporting and supporting the calculation and reporting of AuM.
As Senior Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include among others:
* Extracting revenue data from source systems to collate, review, and post revenue and accruals.
* Involved in collating, reporting, and resolving issues with the reporting of Assets under Management (AUM) by the Group.
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reconciliation of revenue postings to cash received, with timely follow-up on anomalies and updating reconciliations for control frameworks and files provided to auditors.
* Contributing to the collation of Revenue and AUM data for regulatory returns.
* Formatting large data sets into professional Excel reports and providing commentary.
* Building knowledge of the operational systems used to collect/record fees and the business services.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Have experience gained working in a management accounts team.
* Demonstrate a strong interest in the financial services industry.
* Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: basic Word, advanced Excel, and intermediate PowerPoint.
* Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to senior audiences, and be comfortable working in a team and independently.
* Be able to understand and summarise complex information professionally and concisely, with high accuracy and attention to detail, and solve problems quickly.
* Experience within a financial services institution is advantageous but not essential.
