The Role
We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join our Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Salisbury as a Senior Associate Director on a fixed-term basis. The team manages rural estates and provides a wide range of professional services, including estate, farm, and property management, along with rural advice. Working closely with our residential, farming, forestry, natural capital, and finance teams, the team’s technical expertise serves a prestigious client base. The role involves a blend of estate management and professional consulting work.
Responsibilities
1. Act as principal agent for key estate management clients, providing comprehensive advice.
2. Conduct estate and farming business reviews.
3. Ensure the delivery of key client objectives.
4. Maintain compliance with internal and client standards.
5. Identify opportunities to develop new business for the team.
6. Lead and innovate diversification projects.
7. Assist clients with strategic land promotion.
8. Perform secured lending and professional valuations.
9. Manage and lead a high-performing team.
10. Mentor and coach junior team members.
11. Monitor profitability and identify new business opportunities.
Key Skills
* MRICS qualified rural surveyor with experience across various projects.
* Leadership potential with ability to build client relationships and generate business.
* Calm under pressure with good time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills for maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
* MRICS qualification, preferably Rural pathway, with 3-5 years PQE.
* CAAV/SAAVA membership or qualification is advantageous.
