About the Role
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Care Home, you will look after the different needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You will respect the dignity and preferences of our residents while creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
About You
You should hold an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Warm‑hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support are essential qualities. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, with many Senior Care Assistants progressing to Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
