Anabas are a dynamic, national Facilities Management company whose focus lies in supporting corporate office occupiers who look for a great workplace experience. We’re looking for a hands-on, accountable Management Accountant to join our finance team supporting a £50m turnover business. This is a precision-critical role — not for someone who wants to hover above the detail. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team delivering month-end to strict deadlines, ensuring the business has accurate financial information every month. You’ll be involved in data preparation, journal posting, reconciliations, management reporting, and liaising with operational teams — making this a broad role with real scope to influence the business. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts Lead the reconciliation of annual contract costs, ensuring accurate fixed-fee profit reporting Support month-end close and production of timely management accounts Provide analysis on variances and trends for operational managers Communicate progress and challenges daily to line manager to maintain control of month-end Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and year-end reporting About You We’re looking for someone who: Takes full ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion Thrives under deadlines and can multi-task without leaving work for others Is confident in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs; VBA/macros advantageous) Pays meticulous attention to detail and ensures accuracy in everything they do Communicates clearly and works collaboratively with colleagues across the business You’ll succeed here if you enjoy getting stuck into the detail, taking pride in delivering high-quality work, and being part of a team that relies on each other to hit deadlines.
