Interim Building Surveyor – Warwick / Hybrid – £29.48 per hour (Umbrella)
A Local Authority in Warwick is recruiting for an Interim Building Surveyor to support the delivery of a wide range of property and maintenance projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, specification, procurement, implementation, management, and delivery of planned works and cyclical maintenance contracts across the Council’s property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a variety of planned work projects and maintenance contracts to ensure Council assets are well maintained.
* Undertake stock condition surveys, measured surveys, defect inspections, and post-inspections.
* Prepare feasibility studies, technical drawings, tender documentation, and works specifications in line with RIBA work stages.
* Manage and monitor contractor performance and project budgets to ensure value for money and compliance.
* Oversee health and safety documentation and support planning, building control, or listed building applications as required.
* Provide project management from inception to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time and to standard.
Experience Required:
* Proven experience undertaking building surveys and managing the resultant works.
* Experience project managing major works involving customers in residential or commercial settings.
* Demonstrable experience in budget management and cost control across multiple projects.
* Strong background in contractor management and performance monitoring
