About the Role
An established and growing business in the North East is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a key position supporting the companys financial operations handling accounts payable, reconciliations, and reporting, while also providing general administrative assistance to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts
* Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses accurately and promptly.
* Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and company credit cards.
* Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
* Maintain ledgers and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
* Assist with cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and journal postings.
* Support payroll processing and maintain timekeeping records.
Compliance & Reporting
1. Assist with VAT returns, HMRC submissions, and other statutory requirements.
2. Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes.
