Overview of Role This position reports directly to the Airworthiness Planning Manager and supports the Airworthiness Planning & Support Co-Ordinator / Senior Airworthiness Support Officers in ensuring all Airworthiness Records for the aircraft, within the fleet are maintained to the high and up to
date standard expected by the company and Civil Aviation Authority
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities The main activities that will be carried out but the Airworthiness Records Officer include the below. As would be expected the below is not exhaustive and reasonable responsibilities not listed below will be carried out, with training and support provided where required.
• To assist the Airworthiness Planning & Support Co-Ordinator / Senior Airworthiness Support Officers with ensuring that all aircraft data is properly recorded and maintained through proper use of company applications and procedures.
• To carry out effective communication between all areas within Engineering with regards to access of aircraft record information.
• To carry out their duties in accordance with organisational procedures and national authority requirements.
• To operate Airworthiness Support Day to Day functions in the absence of any senior staff
Skills and Knowledge
OASES System experience (desirable)
Understanding of Loganair’s operations and the major entities with whom the company transacts
Microsoft Word / Excel (for business documents and spreadsheets)
Microsoft Outlook (for email)
Proficient use of OASES Engineering Computer System
Ability to prioritise, organise and work in a changing environment to ensure deadlines are met
Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions and communicate these to others.
Ability to clearly communicate in a structured sequence to convey a message at an individual and group level.
Attention to detail & error identification / solutions
