Join us at this hugely exciting time as we launch and develop further our new mental health service strategy and model of integrated mental health care. Together with our partners, and building on national and international best practice, we have co-produced what aims to be a leading contemporary model of mental health care for Scotland. You will be fully supported to help shape and develop the local service to deliver the best quality mental health care available .
These posts represent excellent opportunities to strike the perfect work / home life balance for enthusiastic, forward thinking and committed consultant general adult psychiatrists.
The posts are fully flexible, and it is widely expected that these will be hugely attractive to a wide range of candidates, from those stepping into their first consultant post, to consultants wishing to expand their professional interests across a range of fields including quality improvement, leadership and medical education.
Posts are available across the three Health and Social Care Partnership areas: Perth and Kinross, City of Dundee and Angus, both in the community and within Acute Inpatient Services.
NHS Tayside hosts the East of Scotland Psychiatry Training Scheme, ensuring the best post-graduate educational opportunities are available to our resident doctors.
You will be fully supported to develop your career portfolio to ensure a long and satisfying career in psychiatry in what must be one the most beautiful areas in the UK.
