About the role
The B-Hive is an in-house creative agency serving some of the most recognizable brands in the beauty industry, including No7, Soap & Glory, Liz Earle, and Boots' own brand. We combine the capabilities of an external creative and production team with the speed, flexibility, and in-depth brand knowledge of an in-house setup, backed by years of experience dedicated to Boots and No7 Beauty Company.
As a Senior Client Manager, you’ll be responsible for your account’s success, leading daily operations and team development. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you’ll manage your account like a business, develop client relationships, onboard new business, and participate in delivering high-profile campaigns.
You’ll support the Head of Client Services in creating team momentum to deliver high-quality work and drive growth. Collaborating with other Senior Client Managers, you’ll oversee delivery and support strategic account development, identifying opportunities and devising creative solutions to ensure stakeholder and colleague success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main contact for your clients, managing internal and external communications and ensuring the delivery of integrated campaigns.
2. Ensure client briefs are clear, aligned with business objectives, and collaboratively developed, producing inspiring creative briefs.
3. Partner with creative and production agencies, maintaining good communication and collaboration.
4. Manage scope of work and delegate tasks based on team skillsets.
5. Collaborate with Project Management to ensure campaigns run smoothly, delivering multi-channel campaigns across paid media and owned channels.
6. Oversee financial processes, tracking scope, estimates, and budgets with your team.
7. Manage multiple deadlines, communicate issues and risks, and uphold agency standards.
8. Lead client meetings, presentations, and sign-offs both virtually and in person.
9. Ensure delivery excellence by proactively proposing solutions and opportunities with a positive attitude.
10. Continuously improve processes within your area and align with other account leads.
11. Support the Head of Client Services in growth initiatives and confidently communicate the agency’s offerings.
12. Contribute to Client Services and agency culture through leadership, mentorship, and fostering innovation, creativity, and fun.
What you’ll need to have:
1. At least 5 years as a Senior Account Manager or Junior Account Director in an agency or related creative environment.
2. Experience in line management and developing account teams.
3. Excellent presentation skills, including data reporting and storytelling.
4. Experience working with media agencies and delivering creative for large media plans.
5. Strong project management skills, especially for omni-channel creative assets.
6. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
7. Numeracy skills for estimating creative fees and creating reports.
8. A passion for producing great creative work.
Additional preferred experience:
1. Retail account experience.
2. Managing TV and Radio campaigns.
