Commercial Property Associate / Solicitor

Shropshire | Full-Time | Permanent

£62,000 – £75,000

A leading Top 200 law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Property Associate / Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Shropshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial property lawyer to join a well-established firm with a strong regional and national reputation, high-quality work, and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of commercial property matters, working with a varied client base that may include developers, investors, landlords, tenants, SMEs, owner-managed businesses and landed estates.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction to completion
• Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
• Acting on landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals, assignments and licences
• Supporting corporate transactions with property due diligence
• Advising on development, investment and portfolio management matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial property documentation
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in commercial property
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage matters independently
• Experience advising on a range of commercial property transactions
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach
• Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
• Ambition to progress within a respected Top 200 firm
