HOURS: 37 hours per week; Term time + 2 weeks (4 days in August to coincide with examination results)

Shireland CBSO Academy are looking for an Exams Officer to lead on administration arrangements for external and internal examinations and to ensure the examination process is managed in an efficient manner ensuring all relevant regulations and guidance is followed. The person will also manage the arrangements for data collection in the Academy, including assessment data and reports.
Applicants must have excellent ICT skills and attention to detail and be able to work to strict deadlines. A flexible approach to the working day is essential to meet the demands of the role during busy examination periods.

Key Responsibilities:
* Organising and overseeing all internal and external examinations (e.g., GCSEs, mocks, functional skills).
* Registering students for the appropriate exam entries.
* Ensuring that all exams are conducted in line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations and awarding body requirements.
