Company Description Assist First Line Manager in the day to day running of the operation in order to motivate teams, ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are monitored, all Company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to and that all product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in line with or exceeding KPI's Job Description Manage and motivate the shift team ensuring that productivity and service KPI's are achieved or exceeded Ensure the highest possible levels of Health, Safety and Hygiene are upheld so that legislative and quality requirements can be complied with, ensure relevant paperwork is completed and retained Ensuring that all Quality and compliance checks and controls are carried out and that the Operational team work to the Audit standard required. Deliver communication briefings so that all shift are aware of all Company and local issues and employees are able to offer input/improvements and feel involved Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers to efficiently and cost effectively run the shift Enforce and adhere all Company policies and procedures Ensuring the picks are ready and managed in a timely order Taking accountability of the standards in the working areas Overseeing and motivating the team to ensure all duties are being completed on time Ensuring all computer documents are up to date Being personable to effcictively communicate with drivers & operatives whilst finding solutions for potential challenges Ensuring the pre-load position is on plan and having the ability to priortise to support the customer Qualifications Computer literate with knowledge of Excel Confident at dealing with people at all level Adaptable and methodical approach to work / training / working hours Conscientious and reliable Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines Ability to work as part of a team or individually
