The Team
You will work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in the mid-market, specializing within the Diversified Industrials team to help clients achieve their strategic objectives of buying or selling companies, from initial review to successful completion. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to join a growing and ambitious team as sector specialists.

The Role
Roles & Responsibilities
* Deal origination: Developing deal flow by leveraging a network of high-level contacts to originate buy and sell-side mandates;
* Ensuring rigorous and efficient execution: remaining engaged throughout each process;
* Business development: Supporting KPMG’s regional growth and contributing to go-to-market strategies;
* Managing internal relationships: Leveraging KPMG’s reach and brand outside M&A deal advisory, utilizing senior sector relationships;
* Team development: Coaching and motivating an experienced team, focusing on both origination and delivery;
* Establishing credibility and managing relationships with external parties including intermediaries and advisors;
* Playing a vital role in decision-making and the ongoing development of the team and wider M&A advisory business.
The Person
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Strong academic and technical background (ACA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent);
* Significant experience in M&A advisory within investment banks, Big 4, private equity, M&A boutiques, or corporate development roles;
* Proven track record of generating competitive sell and buy-side mandates;
* Preferably experience within Industrials, either in-house or through deal execution and origination;
* Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated financial modeling experience;
* Transactional experience across all phases of the deal cycle;
* Excellent communication skills with authority and credibility;
* Proven leadership in building and developing teams;
* Personal drive, ambition, and a results-oriented approach;
* High standards for quality, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines;
* Personable, confident, and trustworthy in interactions with colleagues and clients.
