GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated Physics Teacher to join a supportive school in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to share your passion for science, deliver engaging lessons, and help students achieve their academic goals at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
As a Physics Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Using practical experiments, demonstrations, and interactive teaching strategies to engage learners.
* Inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in pupils.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs.
* Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with a focus on achievement and confidence.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for Physics Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
* Specialism in Physics with strong subject knowledge across science.
* Previous teaching experience in a school is desirable.
* Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
