We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Orthoptist to join our friendly and forward‑thinking team of 11 orthoptists at Hull Royal Infirmary. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic department offering a wide range of orthoptic services in a supportive and innovative environment. You will have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting:
* Paediatric Ophthalmology
* Adult Ocular Motility Clinics
* Neuro‑Ophthalmology
* Low Vision and Visual Stress Clinics
* Community Vision Screening Services
Our department is HCPC‑accredited for hosting undergraduate orthoptic student placements, and you will also have the chance to contribute to our in‑house teaching programme. The post will be a Band 5 / 6 dependent on experience and will be based at Hull Royal Infirmary. Dependent on experience, you may have the opportunity to support the service developing extended roles and participate in the Department’s teaching programme.
