Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
The Court of Protection is responsible for decisions related to managing finances and other affairs of individuals lacking mental capacity. Join our leading UK firm, working with Partner Sean Attwood, who provides expert evidence for future deputyship support costs, with clients receiving multi-million-pound settlements for serious injuries or medical negligence.
We assist clients managing others' affairs, concerned about someone’s capacity, or their own. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing routine deputyship and personal injury trusts under supervision and assisting with complex cases.
* Handling administrative tasks such as setting up bank accounts, making payments, benefits applications, and insurance quotes.
* Taking instructions from clients and communicating via written and telephone correspondence with clients, solicitors, and third parties.
* Meeting time recording and fee income targets for profitability.
* Participating in team meetings and adhering to directions to achieve objectives.
* Staying updated with legal changes and attending training for best practices.
