Programme Leader – Maths

Are you an experienced Maths teacher or FE Maths curriculum leader looking for your next step in leadership?

Oldham College is seeking a Programme Leader – Maths to drive excellence across our Maths provision.

In this role, you will:

* Lead and manage a team of Maths tutors to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
* Take responsibility for curriculum planning, quality assurance, assessment and student achievement.
* Monitor recruitment, retention, success and progression of learners in Maths programmes.
* Develop innovative approaches to Maths teaching in Further Education (FE), embedding best practice.
* Teach on Maths programmes as part of an agreed timetable, inspiring learners to achieve their full potential.

What we're looking for:

* A degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
* Proven experience of leading Maths curriculum delivery in FE or secondary education.
* Strong track record of improving student outcomes in Maths.
* Effective people management skills, with the ability to support and develop a high-performing team.
* Knowledge of current FE sector priorities and funding linked to Maths.
