As Crew Team Leader, you are part of the management team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure the safe running of the store, manage the team, and deliver excellent service.
Role Responsibilities
1. Always provide exceptional service, utilising your knowledge to help customers find the best products for in-store and multi-channel sales.
2. Resolve customer issues effectively at store level in a timely and positive manner.
3. Provide efficient and attentive service at the tills, processing POS transactions and thanking customers.
4. Build customer loyalty through opt-in at the POS, fostering 'Customers for Life'.
5. Delegate tasks and demonstrate leadership to team members while managing daily store operations.
6. Understand the commercial aspects of retail, including reading reports, analysing data, and making informed decisions.
7. Ensure the store adheres to visual guidelines, contributing to company standards through product presentation, replenishment, housekeeping, and seasonal setups.
8. Safeguard the business by ensuring full compliance with policies, procedures, loss prevention, and health & safety, especially in the absence of management.
9. Stay updated with company products, activities, and promotions, implementing changes as needed.
10. Proven ability to successfully lead a team and be regarded as a leader among peers.
11. Experience in a customer service environment is essential.
12. Experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and meeting deadlines.
13. Possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
14. Demonstrate a collaborative, positive attitude, confidence in initiative-taking, and ability to work independently.
15. Work productively in high-pressure environments, quickly learning new tasks and retaining information.
16. Be a team player, embracing opportunities to participate actively.
17. Manage time effectively.
