Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Bench Joiner to join our dedicated workshop team.
The Role
As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery items to the highest standards. This is a hands-on workshop-based role working on a variety of custom projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating woodworking machinery including panel saws, rip saws, spindle moulders, and planers
* Manufacturing bespoke joinery items such as doors, windows, staircases, and other custom pieces
* Working from technical drawings, specifications, and cutting lists
* Assembling finished products, including door hanging, glazing installation, and fitting ironmongery
* Spray finishing products in our on-site spray shop
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment
* Competent in operating machinery such as spindle moulders, tenoners, planers, and morticers
* Strong understanding of joinery techniques and machining processes
* Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
