IT Support Administrator
This role will be based in Havant, Portsmouth and is permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite and remote IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
* Administer Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and Group Policy.
* Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
* Install, update, and troubleshoot business applications and Microsoft 365 tools.
* Manage Azure environments and cloud-based services.
* Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure performance.
* Implement security controls including MFA, endpoint protection, patching, and encryption
* Support compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials / ISO 27001 (advantage).
* Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and lifecycle management.
* Coordinate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external vendors.
* Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Document IT processes, SOPs, and system configurations.
* Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred/Advantage
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
* IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+)
* Experience working with MSPs or outsourced IT environments
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and user support skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* High level of integrity and attention to security
