Position Summary

* Provide public education surrounding waste management and implementation of automated cart collection
* Assist with additional promotion and education duties
* Attend information sessions, community events, or other educational opportunities as they arise.
* Assist with the oversight and completion of waste audits and waste participation surveys.
* Other duties as assigned

Shift hours of operation are between 5:30 am and 7:00 pm, (Monday to Friday)

Must be available to start full-time work as of May 4, 2026, varied shifts are possible


Qualifications, Competencies

* MUST BE ENROLLED IN AND RETURNING TO FULL-TIME SECONDARY OR POST SECONDARY STUDIES IN FALL OF 2026 – Verification will be required
* A valid Class 'G' driver’s licence is required
* Must demonstrate corporate values of Belonging, Collaboration, Accountability, and Innovation


Skills, Abilities, Work Demands

* Ability to work alone or in a team environment
* Proven customer service skills
* Ability to work outside in inclement weather conditions
* Must be able to follow instructions and complete daily work assignments
* Must provide and wear CSA approved protective footwear
* A satisfactory criminal record check will be required by the successful candidates at their own expense.
