Next Door is a modern British restaurant located in the intimate setting of Frodsham's old butcher's shop. The restaurant provides locally sourced seasonal food accompanied by an extensive selection of wines from around the world. Both a la carte and tasting menu are available to guests across a 4 day week (Wednesday - Saturday).
Next Door has been recognised by the MICHELIN Guide, 3 AA rosettes 23-24, Good Food Guide, The Future 100 Trends and Change to watch in 2023 by Wunderman Thompson, BBC News and Cheshire Life Restaurant of the year 2019.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior and Senior Chef at Next Door. The Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with meal preparation, cooking, plating, decelopmeng and presentation. The Chef will also be responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and supporting the Chef Patron.
Qualifications
* Excellent cooking and meal preparation skills
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working in a AA/Michelin awarded kitchen is a plus
* A passion for food and an interest in British cuisine and seasonality.
