We are seeking a highly capable Finance Controller to optimize their financial management policies. You will be preparing financial reports and forecasts, performing financial analysis and advising senior management on strategic planning.
To ensure success as a Finance Controller, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting and experience in a similar environment. The successful candidate will be someone whose financial accounting and business management expertise translates into sustained business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
· Overseeing accounting procedures and supervising the financial accounting staff.
· Gathering and interpreting information to evaluate the efficiency of financial procedures.
· Analysing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning.
· Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures, as well as mitigating financial risks.
· Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards.
· Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information.
· Monitoring auditing and taxation practices and keeping up to date with regulatory requirements and best practices in management accounting.
The minimum requirement for this position is:
· Chartered management accountant (CMA) preferred, or other similar qualification or qualified by experience.
· A minimum of three years' experience as a management accountant ideally in a food related business.
· Proficiency in business management and accounting software, such as Xero.
· Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
· Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Superb leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
