JOB DESCRIPTION:
Within the global Engineering department but based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire in collaboration with UK sales and clients your task is to:
* Design components according to the technical requirements and specifications.
* Optimise the concepts and designs with analytical and mechanical assessments.
* Collaborate with engineering team to achieve integrated and optimised solutions.
* Create conceptual and manufacturing shop drawings (2D and 3D).
* Involved within project management process as project designer (possibility to evolve as a project manager)
* Contribute in improving systems and communication with partners, the processes or any other activity within the company.
ESSENTIAL REQUIEREMENTS
* Education: Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial designing/drafting
* Experience: Industrial and Construction related, preference having worked in the fall protection industry
EXPERIENCES/SKILLS
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
* Design experience (2D and 3D). Mandatory INVENTOR - AUTOCAD
* Good understanding of technical requirements to translate them into drawings
* Sense of responsibility and urgency - Showing initiative, being proactiveGood analytical and problem-solving capability.
* Must be detail focused.
* Able to work under pressure and in autonomy
* English: Able to communicate within a technical environment.
* Any other language would be an advantage.
Remuneration package: depending on experience.
Location: 2-3 days a week at offices in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
