Senior Business Development Manager

Hertility is a cutting‑edge digital health company based in London offering a range of at‑home diagnostic tests, telemedicine, treatments, prescriptions and clinical services across reproductive health, fertility decline and menopause. Hertility’s scientific rigor and data‑driven solutions have slashed diagnosis times from nine years to six days, and the company is now expanding its research and clinical programmes.

This critical individual‑contributor role involves executing the full sales life‑cycle for complex deals and strategically shaping the go‑to‑market approach across multiple client tiers.


What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

* Drive full‑cycle sales for high‑value accounts, from strategic lead generation and qualification through contract negotiation and close, consistently exceeding demanding revenue targets.
* Develop a robust pipeline of high‑potential clients across Mid‑Market and Enterprise segments, fueling sustainable growth for Hertility’s Employee Benefits proposition.
* Track pipeline opportunities, provide accurate forecasting and present strategic progress and actionable insights to the Business Development team and Executive Leadership.
* Consultatively communicate the value of Hertility’s proposition, providing expert guidance to prospects and navigating complex internal approval processes (HR, Finance, Legal).


Cross‑Functional Strategy & Ownership

* Manage senior client stakeholders – nurture relationships with Heads, Directors and VPs to ensure alignment and accelerate deal momentum.
* Act as the bridge between the market and internal teams, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Strategy and Operations to translate customer data into actionable requirements that inform the platform and service roadmap.
* Evangelise the Business Development vision, clearly articulating strategy and roadmap to all internal stakeholders and ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
* Maintain operational excellence – liaise with corporate operations and account management to ensure seamless client launches and drive process improvements for scaling efficiency.


What We’re Looking For

* 4+ years of progressive full‑cycle business development experience, with a record of meeting or exceeding significant annual sales targets.
* Proven ability to manage long, intricate sales cycles (6‑12 months) with a consultative, solution‑based approach.
* Strong expertise in Employee Benefits, Digital Health or Health Insurance sectors, preferably selling into HR/Benefits departments or managing relationships with Health Insurance carriers or Benefits brokers.
* Deep understanding of corporate structure, decision‑making and budgeting within HR and Benefits departments.
* E‑broadened skills in autonomous pipeline ownership and CRM excellence.
* Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills, able to translate complex scientific and technical propositions into simple, compelling commercial value for senior executives.
* A collaborative, solution‑first mentality and passion for improving women’s and family health.


Your Team

You will report directly to Chris Morford, Director of Sales, and work closely with the founders and the wider business.

Flexibility in This Role

Full‑time (40 hours per week). Operating hours are 8 am–6 pm Monday‑Friday. Remote‑first model with regular travel to client sites and events in London and the South East.

* Initial phone interview – 15 minutes with Talent Team.
* Competency‑based interview – 30 minutes with Chris Morford.
* Task & discussion – short live task with Chris and Toby, Business Development Manager.
* Final interview – two 15‑minute conversations with Co‑Founders Deirdre (CEO) and Dr Natalie (COO).
