What You'll Do:
In this pivotal role, you will focus on detailed, collaborative, and effective planning to help us achieve three strategic aims:
Curriculum Development: Lead the completion of Phases 2 and 3 (Years 4 and 5) of our innovative 5-year MBBS curriculum.
Accreditation Success: Assist in our successful addition to the General Medical Council (GMC) list of bodies able to award a Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ).
Integration Excellence: Ensure the seamless integration of our Physician Associate MSc (PA) programme with MBBS teaching activities.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Crafting a detailed plan for the development of Phases 2 and 3 of the MBBS programme, defining teaching, assessment, placement capacities, and physical resources needed.
Collaborating with colleagues to manage, mitigate, and escalate identified risks effectively.
Demonstrating how the PA and MBBS programmes can best integrate for a high-quality shared learning experience while ensuring efficient resource use.
Working closely with academic colleagues, professional services teams, and key external clinicians to develop all planned Phase 2 and 3 curriculum components on time.
Supporting stakeholder onboarding and induction, while developing training interventions for clinical specialists involved in teaching and assessment.
Coordinating with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure all activities, including the Medical licencing Assessment (MLA), meet quality assurance and GMC accreditation requirements.
