A highly successful and prestigious school in Essex is seeking an ambitious Teacher of Maths – 2nd in Department to join their thriving Mathematics department from ASAP. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Maths looking for leadership responsibilities in a dynamic and well-respected school.
The successful Teacher of Maths will play a key role in supporting the Head of Maths, helping to drive forward standards in the Mathematics department and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Key Responsibilities
* Teach Maths across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Support the Head of Maths in managing the Mathematics department
* Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring the Maths syllabus remains challenging and inspiring
* Mentor and support other teachers in the Maths department, sharing best practices
* Monitor student progress in Maths, using data to identify areas for improvement
* Take on leadership responsibilities within the Mathematics department and contribute to whole-school initiatives

Requirements
* A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Teacher of Maths, ideally with some leadership experience

* A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues
* The ability to take on leadership responsibilities within the Maths department
* The legal right to work in the UK
