The primary school is located in Nailsea, and the position is starting from the 15 th April on a full-time basis. The school may also consider part-time for the right person. The role: Supporting the student socially, emotionally, and academically Assisting day-to-day running of the classroom and supporting the teacher Supporting the student 1-2-1 with various tasks and topics We are looking for a teaching assistant who: Is patient, sensitive and understanding Has excellent communication skills and active listening skills Experience working with children or adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities is desirable A strong desire to support and work with children The hours will be 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, however the school are willing to consider a job share for the right person.
